"Hofshoeve" is a small (35 acre) family run farm with a small herd of Belgian Blue cattle, a guesthouse for up to 13 persons, pitches for tents and caravans and a cabin for hikers.  All around "Hofshoeve" you can find many walking and cycling routes in a quite rural area.  We can arrange suitable bicycle hire and routes are available.
We are situated on the outskirts of Halle, a small village to the east of the Netherlands, in the area of Gelderland known as the "Achterhoek", and the German border is only 13 miles away.  Also within easy reach, among others, are the towns of:
Arnhem (25 miles) where you can find the "Burgers Zoo" and the Dutch Openluchtmuseum (open-air museum).
Bronkhorst (16 miles) – the smallest town in the Netherlands with it’s Charles Dickens museum.
Bredevoort (10 miles) – the "Boekenstad" with many book shops and old cobbled streets.
Doetinchem (6 miles) for shopping (markets on Tuesday and Saturday).
The village of Halle and the small towns of Zelhem and Varsseveld are nearby where you will find supermarkets and other small shops for your general everyday requirements.

Our guesthouse has seven first floor bedrooms, six doubles (two en-suite) and one single, and on the ground floor there is a large room where breakfast is served.  This room also has a television and various games are available.  Hot evening meals can be provided, if requested, for an additional fee.  Smoking and animals are not allowed in the guesthouse.

The campsite has a maximum of 15 spacious pitches for tents, caravans and campers, with a shower and toilet block.  Electric connections are available.

Up to four hikers can be accommodated in our"trekkershut" where bunk beds can be found with mattresses, sheets and pillows. Duvets are available on request.
The "trekkershut" comes complete with coffee and tea making appliances and a gas hob and facilities for cooking and eating.  The camping toilet block is a close by.  If required we can provide breakfast.
